Accounting Operation Department

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares schedules of subsidiary ledgers and bank reconciliations monthly
  • Prepares journal entries for non-cash and unusual transactions, accruals and month-end adjustments of the company.
  • Prepares Sales Invoices and Billing Statements.
  • Monitors daily cash balance of various bank accounts and reconciles with Cash Position Schedule.
  • Prepares BIR related forms for filing and payment on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Prepares Financial Statements and Management Reports.
  • Coordinates with different Departments/Divisions in the implementation of accounting and financial reporting strategies and programs.
  • Facilitates inquiries from customers, suppliers, bank personnel and other external stakeholders regarding transactions of the company.
  • Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Performs tax compliances and visits government offices if required by the company and clients
  • Performs other job functions that may be assigned by the Chief Financial Officer and President from time to time

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.
  • Proficient in accounting and payroll systems e.g., AccuBooks and MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of meeting deadlines..
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills. Willing to travel for government-related tasks and adapt to new systems.
